Q - Is Hope’s Relief Cream safe for pregnant women / newborn babies?

A - Yes, it is completely safe for all ages for extended periods of time.


Q - What makes Hope’s Relief cream different from other similar products?

A - It is based on a formula containing natural organic herbal extracts with Manuka honey and homeopathics.


Q - What are the main ingredients in Hope’s Relief cream?

A - Organic herbal extracts:  Calendula, Licorice Root, Gotu Kola; Aloe vera; Manuka honey UMF 10+; homeopathic Sulphur, Rhus tox, Graphites.

 

Q - What makes Manuka honey so special?

A - Manuka honey has antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to prevent infection, e.g. golden staph infections. It also heals and soothes inflamed skin.


Q - What is the base made of in Hope’s Relief cream?

A - Vegetable base including coconut, jojoba and Vitamin E


Q - What is the preservative in Hope’s Relief cream?

A - Contains all-natural deodorised tea tree oil and Vitamin E


Q - How long will it take to work?

A - It depends on the individual. Some may notice virtually instant relief; others may take a few weeks.  It depends on severity, how long you have had the problem, what you have been using before.


Q - How often should I apply the cream?

A - 3 –4 times a day or as necessary


Q - I have been using cortisone cream; is this a problem?

A - Be aware it could cause a flare-up – the reason being that cortisone suppresses the condition, drives it deeper into system, so when you stop using cortisone, it will come back often worse than before.


Q - Should I stop taking my oral medication?

A - No, please follow your doctor’s advice


Q - Will Hope’s Relief cream clash with cortisone cream?

A - Better to completely stop using cortisone cream. If you would rather not stop, could continue the cortisone on small areas, but progress will be slower.


Q - Is it greasy?  Will it stain my clothes or skin?

A - No, Hope’s Relief Cream is non-greasy and non-staining.


Q - How does it smell?

A - The cream is fragrance free, but because it is 10% Manuka honey it may have the scent of honey and key herbal ingredients, especially the licorice.


Q - How long after I have cleared my skin problem should I continue using it?

A - Minimum time to continue would be a month.  However it may be used indefinitely. It makes an ideal daily moisturiser, which can be applied once or twice a day.

Q - How are these products different from other shampoos and conditioners?

A - They are specifically formulated to treat eczema, dermatitis, flaky dry scalp and dandruff. The shampoo and conditioner do not contain toxic or harsh ingredients or sodium lauryl sulphate. They are pH balanced, hypoallergenic and biodegradable.


Q - What are the main ingredients?

A - Based on same active ingredients as in Hope’s Relief cream, Manuka honey, organic herbal extracts plus Vitamin E and pro-vitamin B5 or Panthenol.


Q - Are they all natural / organic?

A - Yes, they are completely natural and certified organic where possible.


Q - Do they contain any animal products?

A - No, but Manuka honey is insect derived.


Q - Are they scented?

A - No artificial fragrance but can smell the natural ingredients such as licorice.


Q - Are they safe for pregnant women / newborn babies / young children?

A - Yes, in fact they are perfect for them and anyone with sensitive skin.


  

Q - What about for sensitive eyes?

A - Perfect but obviously close your eyes while rinsing.


Q - They seem very expensive – why is that?

A - The ingredients are of premium quality – only the best available are used and these cost much more than using cheaper detergents. As they are very rich and concentrated only a small amount is needed. As a result is should last longer and work out to be more economical.


Q - I don’t have any particular scalp problems – are they good for me to use?

A - Yes, they make great natural hair care products. It leaves the hair clean, soft and bouncy.


Q – Why use it?

A - The shampoo and conditioner do not strip the hair’s natural oils or damage follicles leading to hair loss. They do not contain any toxic chemicals to be absorbed through the skin.


Q – How often should I use them?

A - They are very safe and gentle to use so they can use daily if required.


Q – Are they suitable for use on coloured hair?

A - Yes; the products do not contain harsh chemicals that would strip hair colour.


Q – Which should I leave on my hair for longer – the shampoo or the conditioner?

A - The conditioner is the more important therapeutic formula.


Q – How long for?

A - Between 3 –5 minutes.


Q – Do the shampoo and conditioner lather up?

A - Yes; even though they are sodium sulphate free they are lower foaming but they still do lather up well.


Q – What causes this?

A - The base has sodium cocoyl sarcosinate which is derived from coconut and has foaming properties; also the herbal extracts contain saponins which also foam.


Q – What preservatives are used?

A - Naturally derived from amino acids.
